Server log files

When you open a page, your browser automatically sends some data to the host’s server: your truncated IP address, the date and time of the request, the file requested, and your browser and operating system. Without this transfer the page could not be delivered; it is technically unavoidable. The host records this data in server log files.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest is the secure and trouble-free operation of the website. The log files are deleted automatically at regular intervals.

Host

The website is hosted by ALL-INKL.COM. The host processes the data listed above on my behalf and is therefore a processor under Art. 28 GDPR.

What this website does not do

This website sets no cookies, uses no tracking and no analytics services, loads no fonts from third-party servers and embeds no social media elements. There is no contact form. When you visit, your browser connects only to the server of this website.

Contact by email

If you email me, I process your details only to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where a contract is concerned, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. I delete the email once the matter is settled and no statutory retention obligation stands in the way.

2. The Mikore app

Mikore collects no personal data and sends nothing to me or to third parties. There is no account, no sign-up and no backend.

Everything you enter, that is income, fixed costs and flats, is stored exclusively locally on your device.

The data sits in the app’s normal storage area. If you have set up an iCloud backup, iOS backs up this data together with the rest of the app’s area. Apple’s terms apply to that.

Mikore can generate a PDF. This happens on the device. Where the PDF goes is entirely your decision, via the operating system’s share menu.

You can store the link to a listing with a flat. The app only saves the link and opens it in the browser when tapped. It loads nothing in the background, not even the page title.

The one-off in-app purchase is handled entirely by the App Store. I receive no personal data from Apple, only anonymised sales statistics. Apple’s privacy policy applies to the purchase.

If you delete the app, all data disappears from the device.

3. Your rights

Insofar as I process personal data about you, you have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection to processing (Art. 21). To exercise them, contact the address above.

You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The competent authority is that of the German federal state in which I am based: Der Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz Niedersachsen (the data protection commissioner of the state of Lower Saxony).
